Employee's hand injured in powder mixing machine

Employee #1, an iron powder mixer operator, had turned off the mixing machine at the end of a mixing cycle. He then reached into the exit port to determine if there was any remaining material. The grinding blades were still turning and caught his left hand, resulting in cuts and crushing injuries.
