At approximately 4:00 p.m. on March 23, 1999, Employee #1 suffered a laceration to his abdomen when the blade on the portable power-driven circular hand saw he was using bound-up and kicked back as he was cutting a 2-in. by 10-in. board at chest height. Employee #1 was hospitalized.
