Employee's hip fractured in fall from scaffold

At approximately 9:30 a.m. on April 3, 1995, Employee #1, of Builders Plastering, Corona, CA, was nailing lath wire from an 18 ft high metal scaffold. He fell from the second level of the scaffold between the scaffold planking and the educational service building. Employee #1 suffered a shattered left hip and was hospitalized for seven days.
