Employee Amputate Fingers in Chain Cotton Bedding Machine

At approximately 9:30 on July 28, 2005, Employee #1 amputated his right thumb, index and middle fingers when he tried to remove the cotton (lint) from the running sprockets and sprocket chain drive of a floor apron Number1 machine, located in the production shop. The employer is in the business of manufacturing of cotton bedding, felt and pillows for the furniture industry. He was hospitalized.
