Investigation Summary
At approximately 8:30 a.m. on July 9, 2005, Employee #1, working for Brawley Beef, was pushing an 8-foot-long slab of beef that was hanging on a rail. The beef fell off the rail and struck the employee, knocking him to the ground. He fractured his right tibia and fibula and was transported to Pioneer Memorial Hospital, where he was hospitalized for treatment and surgery.
