Employee's foot is run over by a forklift

At approximately 2:00 p.m. on November 25, 1998, Employee #1 was assisting in loading door and window frames onto flat bed trailers. He was ridding on the structure of a forklift. He thought the forklift was engaged in park and when he jumped off of the forklift his left foot dragged on the ground. He tried to pull his foot free of the tire and it ran over his heel and ankle. Employee #1 was hospitalized at John Muir Hospital for six broken bones in his foot and two sets of torn ligaments.
