Employee fractures pelvis in same-level fall

At approximately 9:50 a.m. on March 22, 1996, Employee #1, a phone operator, stood up to get a paper from a desk. She slipped on the carpet, and her foot went out from under her. Her tight skirt restricted her from regaining her balance and she fell, landing on her hip. Employee #1 was hospitalized with a fractured pelvis.
