Employee injured in fall from roof

At approximately 10:00 p.m. on September 6, 1999, Employee #1 was installing flashing around the chimney on a house under construction when he apparently slid down the slippery roof surface and fell 19 ft 6 in. to the ground. He sustained fractures to both wrists, three fractured ribs, two fractured hips, and a fractured skull. Employee #1 was working alone at the time of the accident, and there were no witnesses.
