Employee injured when struck by backing automobile

Employee #1 and a coworker were working on a renovation of a Target store. They were moving a hand truck and a bucket of scrap metal to a dumpster when a Target employee came out of the store and jumped into his car. He backed up and struck Employee #1, knocking him to the pavement. Employee #1 was taken to the hospital, where he was treated and released. The Target employee had parked in a "no park" zone to quickly run into the store; the area is normally cordoned off.
