Employee falls through unsecured roof opening

On June 1, 2001, Employee #1, a production worker and table operator, was cleaning up work on top of the blender room roof, a building within a building. He stepped through a false suspended section of the roof and fell approximately 10 ft to the concrete floor below. Employee #1 was hospitalized with a fractured back.
