Employee's fingertip amputated in chain and sprocket

Employee #1 was in freezer #6, using a water hose to clean under the bell pepper belt and behind the chain and sprocket drive. Her glove became caught by the moving chain and pulled in her hand, amputating her index finger just below the nail. The work was part of Employee #1's normal job responsibilities and she was focused on the area she was cleaning. The chain was not guarded.
