At approximately 1:30 p.m. on June 22, 1999, Employee #1, a mechanic at a tomato cannery, fell approximately 15 ft from the unprotected side of an elevated tomato flume support structure to an asphalt-concrete surface fracturing his pelvis. Employee #1 was hospitalized.
