Employee Amputates Finger While Inspecting Compressor

On May 30, 2009, Employee #1, an instructor at a school, was located inside a trailer that housed a compressor he was to inspect. The compressor was contained in a metal box. As he raised the metal box lid to inspect the compressor, the lid came down on Employee #1's right hand, amputating the tip of his right index finger.
