Employee injured in fall from roof

On December 11, 2007, Employee #1, a materials installer for a roofing contractor, was putting a metal roof panel in place on the roof of a metal-framed structure. As he stood upright, Employee #1 lost his footing and fell 17 ft from the roof to the concrete floor. He sustained fractures of his right elbow and his pelvis, for whihc he was hospitalized.
