Employee Is Injured in Fall Through Roof Opening

On November 11, 2005, Employee #1 and a coworker were moving plywood on the roof of a commercial building. Under the plywood, a hole had been cut for a future HVAC unit. As the employees moved the last sheet of plywood, Employee #1 fell through the roof opening, approximately 25 feet to the ground. He suffered a fracture and was hospitalized.
