Employee Fall From Ladder - Cuts On Head And Face

On January 16, 2002, Employee #1, a specialty technician for a window manufacturer, was walking up a ladder stand when he fell 4 feet and struck his head on one of the steps of the ladder stand. A coworker observed Employee #1 grip the hand rails of the ladder stand prior to his fall. The coworker stated that Employee #1 appeared to be having a convulsion of some type. Employee #1 then went limp and fell to the floor. Employee #1 received cuts on his head and face. Employee #1 was hospitalized for observation of his head injury.
