Employee's finger caught in pulley

At approximately 2:00 p.m. on August 6, 1999, Employee #1 was applying paint to a high school football field. He tapped an unguarded pulley belt on the compressor, Number 13-2081, which was stuck, in an effort to reinsert the belt into the pulley. The pulley moved and grabbed his right forefinger. He was hospitalized with muscle, nerve, tendon, and bone damage to his right forefinger.
