Employee's arm injured between conveyor belt and pulley

At approximately 3:30 p.m. on February 3, 1998, Employee #1, age 17, reached into a running conveyor to pick out a piece of wood. His arm became caught by the conveyor belt and was pulled between it and the take-up pulley. Employee #1 sustained multiple lacerations to his arm and a separated shoulder; he was hospitalized for two days.
