Employee falls from scaffolding and punctures his lung

On June 16, 2004, Employee #1 was installing eave blocks on scaffolding on a second story truss. He attempted to move the scaffold over 0.5-in., as it was blocking access to a 2-in. by 4-in. piece of lumber. The scaffold gave way and he fell approximately 10 ft to the first story section of the scaffold and was hospitalized with a puncture to his lung.
