Employee Hospitalized When Hit by Falling Plow Blade

On October 14, 2000, an employee was injured when he was disengaging a plow from a tractor for storage. As he and his supervisor were installing safety pins on the plow, the plow which was in the upright position (approximately 8-feet off the ground) fell and struck the employee. The employee suffered broken ribs, cuts and bruises, and was hospitalized for over two days.
