Farm Laborer Suffers Broken Fingers in Unguarded Pulley

At approximately 8:15 p.m. on September 25, 2000, a farm laborer was injured while working on a tomato harvester. As the employee was removing dirt clogging the conveyor belt he got caught; his fingers caught in the unguarded end pulley. He was hospitalized with several broken fingers.
