Employee's Arm Is Fractured in Fall from Desk

At approximately 10:00 a.m. on August 12, 2006, Employee #1, with Madera Unified School District, was on a student desk, posting decorations on the wall of a classroom. When the desk collapsed, she fell to the ground. Employee #1 was hospitalized at St. Agnes Medical Center for a compound fracture of her left arm.
