Employee Ruptures Disc in Fall from Scaffold

On February 10, 2009, an employee was coming off a second tier of a metal scaffold. He grabbed the railing but the railing was not secured, causing the employee to fall from ladder. The employee was treated at the scene, transported to the hospital, and remained in the hospital for 8 days and treated for a ruptured disc.
