Employee Is Injured after Tripping

At approximately 7:00 a.m. on November 19, 2004, an employee was rejected parts moving by hand. The employee tripped on a mat and fell to the ground. The cause of the accident was that the employee misjudged the tripping hazard created by the mat. The employee suffered a fractured hip, for which she was hospitalized at Sutter Hospital in Merced and moved to Modesto for further treatment.
