Investigation Summary
On November 22, 2001, Employee #1 was one of several painters at the Discovery Bay jobsite. Just before the accident, Employee #1 was painting the hallway on the second floor. Due to missing guardrails, Employee #1 fell from the hallway to the first floor, fracturing his head, left kneecap, and right elbow. Employee #1 was hospitalized to treat his head, knee, and elbow.
