Employee's foot fractured when caught in machine

At approximately 5:00 p.m. on September 14, 2000, Employee #1 was attempting to straighten out a pallet of blocks that was setting on a return belt using his hand. The pallet moved forward releasing a limit switch that holds the unloader tree, a mechanical devise, and caught his ankle between the unloader tree and metal frame. He sustained a fractured ankle and lacerations and was hospitalized.
