Employee burned in chest and arms by hot water release

At approximately 3:30 p.m. on August 17, 2000, Employee #1 was attempting to open a hot water valve, located on the can filling line, when it suddenly released hot water splashing his chest and arms. He sustained second and third degree burns to the chest and arms and was hospitalized.
