Employee cuts hand on table saw

On December 10, 2003, Employee #1, a carpenter for an employer who builds new residential homes, was ripping a piece of siding on a table saw. While making this ripping cut, his left hand slipped. Employee #1's hand contacted the unguarded blade of the table saw and two of his fingers were amputated.
