Investigation Summary
On February 24, 2003, Employee #1, a partner of a building contractor, and the building owner had finished work for the day. The building owner told Employee #1 he would help set up some scaffold in the morning. Employee #1 indicated that would be fine. Employee #1 usually stayed in a RV trailer at the work site. The owner left the building site. When the building owner returned the following morning, he found Employee #1 dead lying on the first floor of the structure. It appeared Employee #1 was erecting the scaffold alone when he fell from the second floor to the first floor.
