Employee Suffers Head Injury

At approximately 12:00 p.m. on December 13, 2002, Employee #1 was walking from her office in the radiology building to the campus Union Building to eat lunch. Employee #1 was crossing the street in front of the facilities building when she tripped on the visually impaired walking strip that was in the crosswalk. Employee #1 hit her chin on the blacktop. Employee #1 was bleeding and went to receive first aid at the campus clinic. Employee #1 received other head injuries that she was not aware of initially. Employee #1 was hospitalized.
