Employee's leg amputated by falling shipping container

Employee #1 was working with a crane operator to unload the top containers of a double stack from a rail car to a truck chassis. Employee #1 was unlocking the third container when the second container fell from the crane and crushed his right leg against the bottom container. He was transported to the hospital, where his leg was amputated below the knee. Employee #1 worked for a contractor that handled railcar containerized freight.
