EMPLOYEE'S FINGER AMPUTATED WHEN USING A GRINDER

Employee #1 was injured while grinding burrs off of a metal punch. Employee #1 had rested his left hand on the tool rest of a grinder and was turning the punch with his right hand. Employee #1's left hand was pulled into the grinder wheel. Employee #1 let the punch contact the edge of the grinder wheel that pulled on the punch. Employee #1's little finger on his left hand was amputated when it was pulled into the grinding wheel.
