At 10:10 a.m. on July 10, 2017, Employee #1 was picking and packing table grapes at a vineyard. The crew boss noticed that the employee began to show signs of c onfusion and irrational behavior. The crew boss notified the supervisor of his o bservations, and the supervisor sent someone to pick up the employee and take he r to the clinic. Employee #1 sat in the shade while she waited for a ride. A non -emergency vehicle transported the employee to a local hospital where she was ad mitted. While at the hospital, the employee suffered multiple seizures, and was placed into a medically induced coma. On July 12, 2017, Employee #1 was transfer red to a larger facility, where she remained until discharge on October 2, 2017. It was determined that her illness was due to natural causes. | ||||||
