On September 27, 2002, Employee #1, an HVAC installer, was working at a renovation project. Employee #1 fell from an unsecured ladder while descending from the jobsite roof. Employee #1 suffered severe multiple trauma, hip joint fractures, and injuries to his left wrist, all of which required immediate surgery. Employee #1 was hospitalized.
