Employee struck in the head

Employee #1 was preparing a 36 in. pipe for welding to another section. He was standing on a platform setting a pipe clamp to align the two pieces of pipe when the clamp loosened. The spring action lever handle struck him in the head. Employee #1 fell to the ground and was hospitalized with a concussion.
