Employee hospitalized after fall from ladder

On January 14, 2003, an employee whose job it was to install wooden chases on single-family homes was working for Country Builders, taking measurements from a shed roof. The measurements were going to be used to cut plywood. He used a 6-foot ladder to access the shed roof. Once the measurements were taken, he was descending the ladder when he lost his balance from the third rung from the top. The employee was hospitalized for treatment of a fractured leg.
