Employee Injures Ankle in Fall

At approximately 1:45 a.m. on September 9, 2005, Employee #1 drove a pallet jack from a cooler area to the loading dock of a warehouse. After parking the jack, he observed a coworker shrink-wrapping boxes on a pallet. Employee #1 walked towards his coworker and began wrestling with him. As Employee #1 grabbed the coworker from behind and tried to lift him up, he tripped over an empty pallet and fell to the floor with the coworker landing on top of him. Employee #1 was hospitalized and treated for a fractured ankle, undergoing surgery to correct the fracture.
