Investigation Summary
At approximately 8:10 a.m. on January 4, 2005, an employee cut down a tree. The tree was rotten, and after being cut by the employee, suddenly split and a portion of it came back at the employee, striking him as it went down. The employee's left arm was broken. The employee was taken to Sonoma Valley Hospital, where the arm was surgically repaired.
