Employee's Finger Is Amputated by Meat Saw

On October 31, 2005, Employee #1, an employee of Costco Wholesale Number 659 in Rohnert Park, CA, was cutting meat on a Bird Model Number 3334, Serial Number 38334 meat saw and was reaching around behind the guard and the blade, when he caught his left index finger on the blade, causing a partial amputation. Employee #1 was hospitalized.
