Investigation Summary

Investigation Nr: 201122637
Event: 07/24/2000
Employee's leg fractured when pinned between cars

Employee #1 was cleaning up prior to going home for the day, while coworkers were bringing in cars from outside to secure them indoors for the night. He was standing between two parked cars when a coworker driving a car up the ramp had his foot slip off the wet brake pedal and strike the accelerator. The car sped forward and collided with one of the parked cars next to Employee #1. It then moved and pinned Employee #1's thighs against the second parked car. He suffered a fractured femur.
