Employee Falls Into Trench And Suffers Burns And Injuries

At approximately 3:30 a.m. on February 22, 1999, Employee #1 fell into a trench and suffered burns and other unspecified injuries. He was working at the top of a trench. The trench was about 10 feet deep. For some reason, he lost his balance and fell into the trench. He was injured upon impact and suffered burns upon contact with the hot metal being welded in the bottom of the trench. Employee #1's injuries required hospitalization for treatment.
