Employee's finger injured when caught in conveyor

Employee #1 was working in a school food service preparation kitchen at the exit side of a package sealing machine conveyor that seals filled food trays in preparation for delivery. He was catching sealed food trays that were exiting the conveyor and stacking them for delivery. He was working rapidly and reached past the edge of the machine and into the path of the moving conveyor chain. The inner pad of the middle finger on Employee #1's left hand was avulsed.
