Employee's hip fractured in fall from roof

At approximately 12:01 p.m. on February 27, 1998, Employee #1, a roofer's helper, was part of a crew preparing a roof for a tar and gravel application. Employee #1 fell approximately 12 ft to the lawn and suffered a fractured right hip. The homeowner called Emergency Services and Employee #1 was taken to San Francisco General Hospital. There were no witnesses to the fall, and Employee #1 has not been heard from since the accident.
