Employee's Arm and Hip Are Fractured in Fall from Roof

At approximately 4:00 a.m. on September 1, 2009, Employee #1, a roofer, was with a crew that was removing old roofing from a building. The crew had finished work for the day and was cleaning up when Employee #1 tried to grab caution tape near the roof edge. He slipped and slid towards the roof edge and fell to the ground. He fractured his arm and hip and was hospitalized.
