At approximately 8:30 a.m. on August 4, 2017, an employee was applying Teflon ta pe on a block. The top seal block on the HMC Bagger line cycled for positioning/ testing, amputating right index fingertip of the employee. The amputation includ ed bone loss. The employee was not hospitalized.
