Employee dies when struck by automobile on bridge

Employee #1 was walking from the base of Stono Bridge to the bridge house located in the middle of the bridge. He had to walk on a 22 in. section of the roadway in order to get to the bridge house. Employee #1 was struck from behind by an automobile and was pronounced dead at the scene.
