Employee Is Struck and Killed by Falling Tree

Employee #1, working as a saw hand, was responsible for felling, removing the limb, and bucking the trees. Employee #1 cut two trees partially through, leaving them standing on the stump. Employee #1 directed the skidder operator to push the downhill tree down. After the skidder pushed this tree down, Employee #1 began to limb it. As Employee #1 was removing the limbs, tree number two twisted on the stump and fell towards Employee #1. The tree struck Employee #1. Employee #1 suffered a concussion and was killed.
