ELECTRIC SHOCK - DIRECT CONTACT WITH OVERHEAD LINE

A power line worker for an electric utility was on a service call. A downed overhead power line was lying in tall grass. The employee, who was not using electrical protective equipment, was electrocuted when he contacted the energized power line.
