Investigation Summary
On April 14, 2003, an employee of BCP Concrete was loading dirt into a dump truck, but not all of the soil would empty from the bucket. The employee jiggled the bucket with the controls and the Bobcat tipped forward. The Bobcat was at a decline while loading a dump truck with soil. An employee sustained a partial amputation of the middle and ring fingers on the left hand after coming into contact with the roof of an industrial vehicle, a Bobcat, and the side of a dump truck. The employee was hospitalized for 24 hours.
