Gas meter reader bitten in face by neighbor's dog

At approximately 1:30 p.m. on July 11, 1994, Employee #1 was attempting to read a gas meter at a residence. A dog jumped up and partially over a fence at another residence, and bit Employee #1 in the face. Employee #1 sustained dime-size holes in the corner of his left nostril and a portion of his upper lip. He was transported by paramedics to UCD Medical Center in Sacramento where he was treated and released. Employee #1 will have plastic surgery.
